Jay Cutler is reportedly targeting an injury-free Week 14 for his ankle injury, but his condition for the game on Monday isn't expected until later in the week. Bears director of football Marc Trestman said Cutler remains "week-to-week."
The Bears will resume their practice on Thursday. Cutler's participation level could go a long way in determining the team's status against Dallas. If he's able to practice in a limited manner then he may be in good shape to be back on Monday. Should he not be able to, the result may be Josh McCown getting another start for the Bears.
McCown has performed well for Chicago, but Cutler's absence has been evident across the board. Chicago Bears score an average of 29 points per game when they play games Cutler begins and 22.8 PPG in those started by McCown.
New footage illustrates Mike Tomlin taking a step toward the sideline
Mike Tomlin has been the center of controversy after allegedly taking part in a Baltimore kick return last week. Tomlin said he was watching the play on the jumbotron but didn't think about where he was when he entered the field. A new video seems to show Tomlin moving toward the field and causing Jones to turn.
The Madden NFL 24 is examining the incident. Steelers Safety Ryan Clark said there was no intention from Tomlin however John Harbaugh and the Ravens are moving forward from the situation.
