Remakes of Live a Live is set to be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch in July, while a remake for Dragon Quest III is currently being developed D2R ladder items. There are several other games that could benefit from the design and style, and it'll be fascinating to see how Square Enix does with HD-2D next. Although the company has evidently invested in this style of graphics, Asano went on to reveal that there is no any current "definitive Bible," and it will continue to change from game to game.
"We haven't put together anything like the one we have. The way that it's expressed varies from title to title, and so the HD-2D flavour will differ slightly every time. When you play Live A Live for example it's the prehistoric setting that's different. prehistoric area will be different from the sci-fi setting.
