The new silhouette has been incredibly well-received, and the Swoosh is ready to introduce more colorways to keep the momentum going. The midsole features Nike’s revolutionary new React foam technology, while the upper makes use of a translucent shell, exterior taping on the heel, an exposed lace collar, and trail-running style laces. Regarding how these stack up compared to the standard React Element 87, the differences are a little more than just cosmetic.

After the first two colorways sold out immediately earlier this month, fans of the new silhouette have been clamoring for a wider release. Nike certainly aren’t resting on their laurels when it comes to the React Element 87. Aside from the obvious UNDERCOVER by Jun Takahashi stamp on the uppers, the cork footbed has been replaced with a mesh one and the colors coordinate with the uppers of the shoe.
