The adidas POD System 3.1 finally released in June to much praise from fans and consumers. One of those colorways set to release in the Black and White iteration you see above. Now, the Three Stripes takes the silhouette back to the drawing board to push a minimalistic new “Core Black” colorway coming in August. The new colorways bears many a similarity to the first P.O.D. release, but swaps out the original’s brightly-colored accents for a more toned-down aesthetic. It features a sock-like collar with tonal Three Stripes on the sides.

The adidas P.O.D. is going to turn a lot of heads on foot this year. This adidas POD S3.1 features a Black mesh upper complimented by even more Black found on the laces, Three Stripes and heel pull tab. The new silhouette utilizes design elements from multiple adidas models, creating a wild-looking sneaker with plenty of room for interesting color blocking or collaborative interpretation. The shoe’s upper arrives in a tonal mesh black, with the only colored accent arriving via white adidas P.O.D branding on the black suede heel patch. The upper is constructed from multiple pieces using a varying range of materials.POD-S3.1 branding on the on the lacing system and heel atop a Boost midsole completes the design.

Adidas Yeezy Boost,More colorways of the new adidas POD S3.1 are set to drop next month. In the forefoot, a thin breathable knit lines the toecap to give the wearer’s toes some room to wiggle and provide airflow. The toecap is then stitched to a larger knit piece that covers both the lateral and medial sides of the sneaker as well as the tongue. The all-Black motif is then broken up by the White noted on the POD sole unit and the minimal branding on the eyestay and heel tab. A two-piece midsole features white Boost in the heel and a white TPU-style foam in the forefoot, connected together by a black plastic midfoot shank, while a retro-styled white and black outsole design completes the shoe’s look. The knit is reinforced with extra layers around the heel to provide a more locked-in feel and long-term comfort.

After first releasing in June, the adidas P.O.D. s3.1—a spiritual successor of sorts to the ultra-popular adidas NMD—is now set to arrive this August in a stately black/white color combination. The sole is the highlight of the shoe, balancing adidas’ most comfortable midsole technologies for an idyllic stride. The latest colorway of the POD System ready to release is a very simple Core Black interpretation. The entire upper on this pair comes in black, save for the Point of Deflection branding on the heel. This iteration of the model comes dressed in a sleek Black and White color scheme. The newly designed midsole comes in all in white this time, with minimal black hits around the outsole.Look for the adidas POD S3.1 in Black/White to release on Cadysport and select adidas Originals retailers.
