The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Butter” is beautiful in person.Primeknit upper, Boost tooling, “SPLY-350” and stripe located on the medial side. While the “Peanut Butter” colorway was originally set to replace the “Ice Yellow” pair for June, it now appears that this “Butter” version will be replacing both for the month of June. Most of the early photos did not do the new color justice, but now we can check out the fresh look in full detail. The Primeknit body of this V2 is turned inside out, providing a slightly different pattern on the outside. Given the official “Butter” nickname, its Primeknit upper sports a soft yellow construction and comes devoid of any SPLY-350 branding, like its “Cream” predecessor. Because of the color, the SPLY-350 typically on the outer side is not visible. The laces and heel tab come in a darker tone of yellow than the knit upper, similar to last year’s cream colorway.
There were Peanut Butter and Ice Yellow iterations of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 originally scheduled for June, and now it looks like those pairs are going to be replaced with this new Butter edition. Finally, the peach outsole is a great addition to the shoe. The “Butter” version serves as a replacement for the “Peanut Butter” colorway which was announced originally. Indoors, the sole appears light and almost a similar color to the upper, while in sunlight, it appears much darker.Much like the other recent Yeezy releases, supply for this drop is expected to be much higher than it was in the past, giving you a good shot at purchasing a pair for retail if your do your due diligence. Overall, the new “Butter” colorway is a great addition to the adidas Yeezy Boost line.First it was the “Ice Yellow” releasing in June, which was later switched to “Peanut Butter” and now it’s the “Butter” colorway. The color is perfect for a Summer outfit and will wear well with time. As for sizing, the new colorway follows the same rules as all the others. Most people will go up a half size and fit comfortably.
